Their creative, collective actions sit at the intersection of gender, racial, climate, and economic justice, amplifying that violence against women and girls is the most pervasive human rights violation and that home is the most dangerous place for a woman (UN Women). They rise against a wave of war, fascism, white supremacy, misogyny, femicide, homophobia, transphobia, corporate greed, and climate destruction, centering the voices and experiences of the most marginalized and excluded who face ever increasing levels of violence. Shattering traditions and creating spaces for grassroots dialogue, they show that when art and activism come together, they have the power to transform systems and change culture.
