As the 2009 year comes to a close, we want to take this moment to thank you for your continued support and dedication to ending violence against women and girls.
This past year, together we have seen amazing victories and incredible V-Moments. We mobilized thousands of volunteer activists, politicians, high profile leaders, and dedicated supporters around the world to raise awareness about violence against women and girls worldwide. We saw V-Day benefit events in all 50 of the Unites States and in over 50 countries raise funds and awareness for local groups and organizations working to end the violence.
