Dolphin Anti-Rape and AIDS Control Outreach: End of Year Update
The following update was sent from the founders and team leaders of Dolphin Anti-Rape in Kenya, and covers work done between September 2016 and November 2016.
The trainings were done in Maungu Sub-County of Taita Tavetta County, Vipingo Sub-County of Kilifi County and Nairobi County 3 Schools where we trained a total of 376 School Teachers, Community women trainers and 4060 schools girls and they were as follows:
- 112 Teachers drawn from Maungu Sub-County.
- 84 Community women trainers drawn from Maungu Sub-County.
- 104 Teachers drawn from Vipingo Sub-County.
- 74 Community women trainers drawn from Vipingo Sub-County.
- 500 Students from Lakisama high school.
- 1800 Students from State House high school.
- 1760 Students from Pangani high school.
- What is next: We shall do trainings in Kilifi County and Mombasa County. The work will commence from January 2017 through to March 2017.

Reports from Maungu Sub County show a reduction in rape cases as compared to the previous situation before we carried out the activity.
